Crypto Week Traders Eye Modest US Jobs Rise Amid Geopolitical Tension
The Crypto Week is off to a cautious start, with Bitcoin trading just under $63,000. The focus will be on the US jobs report due out on Friday, which is seen as supportive for risk assets without putting pressure on the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates.
A modest rise in hiring is considered the best outcome for markets, according to IG analyst Tony Sycamore. He notes that a gain near 88,000 jobs with unemployment steady at 4.2% would strike a balanced tone, easing slowdown fears without nudging the Fed toward rate hikes.
Circle, Galaxy, Block, and several major miners, including American Bitcoin, Hut 8, Riot Platforms, TeraWulf, CleanSpark, and MARA Holdings, will report earnings this week. Their results will provide insight into how operators are navigating softer liquidity and uneven market sentiment.
