A crypto whale's wallet has been hacked for the second time in two years, resulting in losses of approximately $25.6 million. The hacker drained a diversified portfolio of assets including Wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC), Coinbase Wrapped Bitcoin (cbBTC), Lido DAO (LDO), USDS, and Curve DAO Token (CRV) from the wallet.

The stolen funds were quickly converted into DAI and ETH, making it harder for authorities to track them. This is not an isolated incident, as the same wallet was compromised in September 2023 with losses of $24.23 million. In that case, the hacker returned around 90% of the stolen funds.

The incident highlights persistent vulnerabilities in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, particularly for high-value holders. The attacker's swift conversion and movement of funds suggests a level of sophistication often seen in professional hacking groups.
