Crypto Whales Rotate Capital into Ethereum, Solana, and XRP
Crypto whales are reshaping their capital rotation trade following Bitcoin's price rally. While Bitcoin remains the core institutional asset, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Hyperliquid are attracting fresh attention as traders seek stronger relative performance and higher-beta opportunities.
Ethereum is emerging as the leading large-cap alternative for fresh crypto risk exposure. A whale recently opened a $44.85 million ETH perpetual long using 25x leverage, while another large position remains valued at roughly $107 million.
Solana is attracting capital further up the risk curve with a recent $10.45 million whale bet using 20x leverage after previously generating substantial gains from an ETH trade. Institutional-style flows are also supporting the rotation thesis, with Solana recording approximately $28.34 million in weekly investment-product inflows.
XRP is attracting significant capital through investment products, with a record of approximately $39.78 million in weekly net inflows, exceeding corresponding flows for several other major altcoins.
