Crypto Whales Rotate Out of Bitcoin for Solana and XRP
The cryptocurrency market has shown unexpected resilience in the face of a hawkish speech from Fed Chair Kevin Warsh and the decline of the U.S. technology sector, according to analysts at Wintermute.
Despite these macroeconomic headwinds, Bitcoin managed to hold its ground after a powerful rally, while institutional capital began shifting into altcoins, leading to record inflows into Solana and XRP funds.
In particular, the altcoin index rose 0.61%, outperforming Bitcoin and Ethereum, with Solana and XRP becoming the main targets for whales, attracting $154 million and $110 million in inflows, respectively.
Wintermute analysts noted that this broadening of capital rotation across the industry is a key trend, with large funds supporting market levels rather than retail investors.
