Cryptocurrencies Surge in August with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana Leading the Charge

Citi and Goldman Sachs have partnered to launch a collaborative stablecoin project, while the SEC has proposed rules to accommodate blockchain technology and facilitate round-the-clock US trading. The corporate crypto treasury market has reached $40 billion in market cap, with alt-coin digital asset trusts outperforming.
Decentralized finance (DeFi) lending has also seen significant growth, surging to a record high of $26.1 billion led by prominent protocols like Aave and Morpho.
