Cryptocurrency Investor Found Dead in Paraguay Amid Investigation
Harry Chun Tak Yeh, a Hong Kong-born Canadian who invested in Bitcoin early on and later founded Quantum Fintech Group, was found dead at the base of a tower in Paraguay. His body was discovered naked and covered by a black plastic bag around 4:30 am on August 7, according to local police reports.
The investigation revealed that Yeh's 30th-floor office space had been ransacked, with doors open, electrical cables ripped out, and objects scattered across the floor. The police found evidence of a struggle, including handprints and apparent contact marks around an open glass window near the office. Yeh held units on both the 30th and 27th floors.
Preliminary findings suggested that Yeh may have taken his own life, but investigators were waiting for autopsy and forensic results to make a final determination. A police investigator noted that the building's extensive security measures made it difficult for an unknown person to enter without being detected.
