Cryptocurrency Market Eases Risk-Off Sentiment Amid US-Iran Pause
The cryptocurrency market experienced a risk-off sentiment easing on Monday as tensions between the US and Iran remained paused, while Oman held peace talks. Bitcoin (BTC) continued its winning streak, holding firm above $65,000.
In addition to BTC, DeFi tokens such as Aave (AAVE) and Ondo (ONDO) emerged as top performers over the last 24 hours, bucking the broader market trend. This comes as World Foundation raised over $52 million in a token sale for its World Network project, which marked its third anniversary.
The top three cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Bitcoin, Ethereum (ETH), and Ripple (XRP), began the week on a firm footing, with BTC extending its winning streak. ETH cleared a key hurdle by closing above its 100-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), while XRP stabilized around $1.10.
