The cryptocurrency market has experienced a significant wave of liquidations over the past 24 hours, totaling $435.16 million in losses according to CoinGlass.

This number is comprised of long positions losing $324.03 million and shorts accounting for $111.47 million.

Ethereum had the highest liquidation total at $74.34 million, followed closely by Bitcoin with a loss of $61.20 million.

The market's price action suggests that despite these losses, the overall market is still holding firm, with cryptocurrency market capitalization rising 1.2% to $2.2 trillion.
