Cryptocurrency Market Remains Resilient Amidst Short-Term Fluctuations
The cryptocurrency market is showing signs of resilience, with Bitcoin and Ethereum experiencing slight gains over the past day. As of now, Bitcoin is trading near $64,869, up 1.54% from yesterday's prices, while Ethereum has climbed to $1,921, a 1.21% increase.
However, analysts note that these short-term fluctuations may not necessarily translate to long-term trends. The weekly chart for Bitcoin shows a bullish divergence, which could indicate a potential price surge in the coming months. This pattern is similar to one seen near the end of the 2022 bear market and has been confirmed across multiple weekly candle closes.
On the other hand, Ethereum's 3-day chart still displays an active 'W' double-bottom pattern, but resistance at $1,950 has capped rallies for weeks. A breakdown below $1,800 could invalidate this setup, while a bullish breakout target sits at $2,070-$2,080.
XRP, however, presents a weaker story, having crashed from levels above $3 last year and currently trading near $1.08. Buying interest has emerged alongside exchange outflows, suggesting some holders are moving coins off exchanges rather than preparing to sell.
