Cryptolink's Bitcoin ATMs Suspended in Australia Over Compliance Concerns
Cryptolink's 96 Bitcoin ATMs have been suspended for three months by Australia's financial intelligence agency, AUSTRALIA'S AUSTRAC.
The suspension comes after AUSTRAC found failures in transaction reporting and ongoing concerns over the company's handling of high-risk activity.
Cryptolink had previously paid a A$56,340 penalty for alleged reporting and risk assessment failures.
AUSTRAC CEO Brendan Thomas said the regulator remains concerned about Cryptolink's ability to manage high-risk transactions through its crypto ATMs.
