Curve Accuses PancakeSwap of Code Duplication
Crypto finance platform Curve has accused PancakeSwap of copying its code without permission. This alleged violation is not only illegal, but it also shows poor judgment on the part of projects that take this approach.
The accusation comes just days after PancakeSwap launched a new StableSwap feature on March 1, designed to reduce slippage in stablecoin trades.
Curve posted on X: 'Looks like you copied our code without asking. It is violation of its license. Not only it is illegal: historically it showed to be unwise for those who did it this way in other regards.'
PancakeSwap responded briefly, saying they were reaching out to Curve's team directly to discuss the matter.
