Curve DAO Taps yRisk for Risk Management Amid Llamalend Expansion
Curve DAO has appointed yRisk as its new risk-management provider for crvUSD and Llamalend, replacing LlamaRisk. The decision was made on September 2 after a binding on-chain vote, in which approximately 621.2 million veCRV supported the proposal and virtually none opposed it.
yRisk will receive 125,000 frxUSD and 568,181 CRV through two revocable one-year vesting streams separately. The team consists of contributors known as Wavey and Dudesahn, who are also primary developers at Resupply.
Resupply suffered a $9.6 million donation attack in June 2025, but the incident was not mentioned in yRisk's proposal or Curve's comparative assessment. Swiss Stake reviewed nine competing applications before recommending yRisk, citing its practical knowledge of Curve and Llamalend as strengths.
