Curve DAO Taps yRisk for Risk Management on crvUSD and Llamalend
Curve DAO has appointed yRisk as its new risk-management provider for crvUSD and Llamalend, assigning a twelve-month mandate to the team on September 2. The appointment comes after LlamaRisk ended its engagement early in June.
yRisk will receive 125,000 frxUSD and 568,181 CRV through revocable one-year vesting streams. The package represents the team's requested annual budget of approximately $250,000.
The yRisk team consists of contributors Wavey and Dudesahn, who are also primary developers at Resupply. However, the proposal did not mention Resupply's 2025 donation attack that caused approximately $9.6 million in losses.
Curve reviewers identified a staffing concern, questioning whether two contributors with other responsibilities could monitor a growing number of markets and provide adequate incident coverage.
