Curve Finance Completes Security Audit of Cross-Chain Lending System
Curve Finance has completed a security audit of its Llamalend V2 lending system, marking a significant step in the protocol's core development and cross-chain expansion. The audit was conducted by ChainSecurity and was finished before the system's deployment on Optimism.
Llamalend V2 introduces several upgrades over its predecessor, including support for LP tokens and PT as collateral, and the ability to create markets using assets other than crvUSD. This flexibility is expected to attract a wider user base and increase the utility of the platform.
The system's deployment on Ethereum mainnet on August 13 marks its availability to a broader audience. Curve Finance aims to carve out a niche in the lending market by leveraging its existing liquidity and user base, focusing on advanced collateral types and cross-chain functionality.
