Cyberleek Cash Out of GTA 6 Leak Scheme for Over $200K in Predictable Rugpull
Cyberleek's GTA 6 leak scheme has come to an abrupt end, as the leaker appears to have cashed out on their cryptocurrency, earning over $200,000 in what can only be described as a predictable rugpull.
After leaking illicit footage of Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay, Cyberleek began promoting their own cryptocurrency, $CYBERLEEK, which was minted on the Solana blockchain. Viewers were encouraged to buy and trade the token, with some even able to use it to vote on the subject of future leak videos.
Cyberleek claimed that these actions would be supporting 'a secret project' to fight for consumer rights, but their increasingly desperate pleas for support have been met with skepticism. As public sentiment soured on their compulsive crypto hucksterism, Cyberleek's scheme began to unravel.
On the morning of April 24th, a series of transactions occurred, resulting in one trader earning an estimated $270,000 and tanking the token's value for everyone else. It appears that Cyberleek had been generating profits by encouraging viewers to buy and trade tokens through a Raydium liquidity pool.
