$CYBERLEEK: GTA VI Leaker Demands Change, But What's the Real Motive?
The latest Grand Theft Auto VI leak has left Rockstar Games scrambling to contain the situation. An anonymous leaker, known as CyberLeek, has been releasing footage of the game's development on social media. The clips, which include driving sequences, gunfights, and a basketball mini-game, have sparked both excitement and concern among gamers.
CyberLeek claims to be a consumer-rights vigilante fighting against digital preorders, paid unlocks for single-player content, and the practice of shutting down servers that render games unplayable. The group has set up its own cryptocurrency, $CYBERLEEK, which it claims will fund its secret project.
However, skeptics argue that CyberLeek's demands look like a Trojan horse for its own financial gain. The token's market cap has reportedly crossed $3 million, and the group has burned $1 million of its own dev-held tokens to boost investor confidence.
Rockstar Games has taken legal action against CyberLeek, but the leaker has responded with a threat to release a complete playable build for free unless Rockstar backs off. The group claims it has a 'Dead Man Switch' that will upload the game online if anything happens to it.
