Cypherpunk Denies Robinhood Token, Warns of ZEC Vulnerabilities

Nasdaq-listed Cypherpunk Holdings has clarified its stance on a token bearing its name on Robinhood's blockchain, stating it has no involvement with the asset. The company emphasized that it only holds native Zcash (ZEC) on the Zcash blockchain and that its official security is listed as CYPH on Nasdaq.

The clarification came after market data showed a massive surge in both CYPH stock and ZEC, with CYPH jumping over 250% in 30 days and ZEC breaching $1,200. This increase has sparked debate among analysts, with some critics labeling ZEC as 'such an obvious pump and dump.'

One critic, Samson Mow, raised concerns about the asset's rally being driven by hype rather than real protocol growth. Another analyst, Chun, pointed to several vulnerabilities in ZEC's model, including its initial four-year Founders' Reward and development fund.
