Cypherpunk Unveils Largest Zcash Mining Fleet with $33.3M Winklevoss Acquisition

Cypherpunk Technologies has launched what it calls the world's largest Zcash mining operation after acquiring a fleet from Winklevoss Capital in an equity-based transaction valued at $33.33 million.

The mining fleet, which is already online at facilities across the United States, produces roughly 4.2 GSol/s, accounting for about 18% of the Zcash network's current hashrate.

Cypherpunk now controls a significant share of Zcash's mining capacity and will add mining to its existing Zcash holdings, which currently stand at 323,394 ZEC, representing about 1.9% of the cryptocurrency's circulating supply.
