CZ Asks Trust Wallet to Simplify 'Ignore Coins' Feature

Binance cofounder Changpeng 'CZ' Zhao has asked Trust Wallet to simplify its existing Ignore coins feature, which allows users to hide unwanted tokens from their portfolio. The request comes after CZ retired his public wallet due to unsolicited meme coin spam.

Zhao initially doubted the usefulness of the feature, but reconsidered after users explained how it helps manage wallets filled with spam, dust, or unsupported assets. Trust Wallet already offers the Ignore coins option, but access requires five steps.

The control does not remove tokens from the blockchain or prevent other people from sending more assets to the same address. It only hides unwanted balances from the wallet application's portfolio screen.
