CZ Backs Regional Crypto Licence Passporting System Across ASEAN

Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao has called for a unified crypto licensing framework across the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

A passporting system would allow regulated firms to operate more easily across multiple ASEAN member countries, subject to agreed rules.

CZ believes greater regulatory cooperation could reduce compliance barriers while maintaining oversight of the digital asset industry.
