CZ Disputes Forbes' $110 Billion Net Worth Estimate

Forbes has estimated Binance's founder Changpeng Zhao's net worth at $110 billion, ranking him 17th on its annual World's Billionaires list and placing him above Bill Gates.

Zhao, also known as CZ, disputes this figure, calling it 'definitely not accurate' due to the significant drop in crypto prices since their peaks in 2025.

Crypto prices have fallen more than 50% in 2026 already, and BNB holdings have dropped by around 25%

The estimate is based on Forbes' valuation of Binance itself at roughly $100 billion, which would command a twelve-figure sale price even after applying a discount for operating largely outside U.S. regulations.
