CZ on Stress Resistance and Lifelong Motivation: Binance's CEO Shares Insights
CZ, the CEO of Binance, recently shared his thoughts on handling pressure, adaptability, and lifelong motivation in an interview for the 'Meanders' podcast. When asked if he was tired, CZ replied that he wasn't too bad, just a little.
He stated that he's no longer among the busiest people in the world, but still replies to messages as soon as he sees them. CZ emphasized the importance of having self-driven and proactive team members who can push projects forward on their own.
In an hypothetical scenario where he would rebuild a global exchange from scratch with his current experience, CZ said that he wouldn't touch US users from day one. He also mentioned that futures and financial products would launch earlier and be more comprehensive, while blocking certain regions entirely.
CZ shared that the two most stressful periods in Binance's history were the ICO price drop right after listing and the 10-plus months stuck in the US. He handles pressure by compartmentalizing things, setting no wealth goals, and believing in simulation theory: do your best and leave the rest to fate.
