CZ Urges Countries to Tokenize Assets Amid Growing Market

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) is advocating for tokenization of assets to help countries raise money and attract foreign investment.

In a recent post, CZ noted that tokenization can be beneficial for governments as it allows them to 'raise money' or attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).

According to Zhao, tokenization can also be used to sell tokenized stocks globally, which could be attractive to countries looking to boost their economies.

CZ is not the only one who thinks this way. Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev recently called tokenization 'the best path to modernizing US finance.'

However, there are concerns about the fragmentation of liquidity in a multi-chain approach. Zhao acknowledges that putting assets on multiple blockchains can lead to fragmented liquidity.
