CZ's Tokenization Plan: 'Tokenize Everything' to Attract Investors

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) believes that tokenizing everything is key to attracting investors. He thinks countries can use tokenization to raise capital and attract foreign direct investment by offering digital representations of assets to global investors.

CZ supports issuing tokenized assets across multiple blockchains, acknowledging that this approach would create fragmented liquidity but would be the fastest way to expand the sector. According to him, greater interchangeability between issuers could reduce some liquidity fragmentation across blockchain networks.

The comments from CZ come after BNB Chain reported a significant growth in RWA holders, with approximately 776,000 tokenized real world assets held by users on August 19. Tokenization converts ownership rights or economic claims into blockchain-based units and can broaden distribution by making an asset accessible through digital platforms.
