D-Central Technologies Hits 10-Month Mark in Open-Source Bitcoin Mining Firmware Development
D-Central Technologies has reached a significant milestone in its open-source Bitcoin mining firmware project, DCENT_OS. The company announced that it has been working on DCENT_OS and its companion miner management tool, DCENT_Toolbox, for approximately 10 months.
The development effort has progressed daily, with the team even working on weekends to advance the project. As part of this public development process, D-Central regularly synchronizes source code, documentation, engineering evidence, and experimental hardware paths in its public repositories.
The latest public mirror synchronization for both DCENT_OS and DCENT_Toolbox was published on August 15th. The company has made significant progress in the past few months, with much of the foundational reverse-engineering work for Antminer and ESP32-based paths now complete.
