Billionaire investor Ray Dalio has shared his thoughts on the future of Bitcoin. In a recent LinkedIn post, he stated that he expects the leading cryptocurrency to 'do relatively well' due to governments around the world struggling with mounting debt.

Dalio pointed out that countries such as the United States, UK, European Union, China, and Japan are facing similar debt and deficit problems. He argued that weakening demand for government debt, rising long-term bond yields, and monetary expansion are all signs of growing pressure.

The legendary investor noted that he personally owns Bitcoin and has a preference for gold as a hedge against currency debasement. However, he also warned that governments could attempt to suppress Bitcoin if it became too successful.
