'Dancing Queen' Returns to UK Charts for First Time in Over Half a Century

ABBA's classic song 'Dancing Queen' has reached No. 1 on two U.K. charts, more than half a century after its initial release. The song was part of the band's special anniversary vinyl edition offered to fans in celebration of its fiftieth anniversary.

'Dancing Queen' reappeared at No. 1 on both the Official Physical Singles and Official Vinyl Singles rankings, marking ABBA's seventh No. 1 on these charts. The song had previously peaked at Nos. 4 and 3 on these rankings, respectively.

This achievement is particularly significant given that 'Dancing Queen' was initially released as a single in the early 1970s. Its resurgence to the top spot comes after ABBA offered a special 10-inch vinyl edition through their online store earlier this month.
