Dango Decentralized Trading Platform Shuts Down Amid Financial Challenges
The decentralized trading platform Dango has officially shut down its operations, marking another casualty of the challenging crypto market environment. Launched in April with ambitious plans, the project struggled to find a viable path toward long-term commercial success.
According to statements from the team and its founder, Dango faced a combination of financial challenges, including shrinking runway, legal and compliance delays, talent departures, and internal pressure. Despite ongoing development activity in recent weeks, momentum faded, and feature rollouts slowed.
The team emphasized that user funds remain safe throughout the wind-down process. Two critical deadlines have been set: trading will stop permanently on July 29, 2026, and the Layer 1 blockchain will shut down on August 13, 2026. Users are advised to withdraw their assets before the latter date.
