Dango's DEX Shuts Down Amid Financial Struggles and Regulatory Pressures

Dango's perpetual decentralized exchange (DEX) is shutting down after nearly four months of operation. The platform will halt trading on Wednesday and completely shut down its network on August 13, joining a wave of recent crypto shutdowns that includes BitMEX, Odos, and Satori Finance.

In an announcement on X, Dango cited 'various reasons' for the closure, stating that there is no viable path to lasting commercial success. The team faced cash shortages, legal challenges that slowed momentum, the loss of team members, and broader market conditions.

Dango founder Larry Liu emphasized these challenges in a separate statement, highlighting the difficulties his team encountered.
