Dartmouth College's endowment saw its cryptocurrency exchange-traded fund (ETF) holdings decline by over $2 million in Q2 2025 due to falling prices of underlying digital assets.

The value of these investments dropped from $14.6 million on March 31 to $12.4 million as of June 30, according to a recent filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The decline was not due to any change in the number of shares held but rather the volatility inherent in digital asset investments.

Dartmouth's positions included the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF, the Grayscale Ethereum Staking ETF, and BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin ETF.
