Dashjr Departs OCEAN Amid Differing Visions for Bitcoin Mining

Luke Dashjr, co-founder of Bitcoin mining pool OCEAN, has left the company after reaching a mutual separation agreement with its parent firm Mummolin Inc. on August 29.

Dashjr resigned as chairman, chief technology officer, and director by mutual consent, ending his ownership interest in the pool entirely.

Mummolin repurchased all of Dashjr's equity, leaving no details on the value or percentage of ownership involved.

Dashjr plans to establish a new venture called CONVOY to continue promoting decentralized Bitcoin mining, but further information remains undisclosed.
