DB Financial Invests Heavily in Ethereum Ecosystem Through Korea One Sponsorship
DB Financial Investment has announced its participation as the main title sponsor of Ethereum Korea One, an upcoming Ethereum flagship conference in Seoul. The event will take place on August 28-29 and aims to bring together banks, asset managers, securities firms, policy officials, and other stakeholders in the Ethereum ecosystem.
As part of its involvement, DB Financial Investment's CEO Bongseok Kwak will deliver a keynote congratulatory address on the first day. The company's Digital Asset Business Team Head Jusik Lee will also participate as a panel presenter to introduce the status of their token securities (STO) and real-world assets (RWA) business initiatives.
DB Financial Investment is expanding its digital asset business centered on STOs and RWAs, and is exploring ways to combine blockchain infrastructure with traditional finance underwriting capabilities. The company has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Optimism Foundation, an Ethereum layer-2 network, to explore global cooperation models for STO and RWA businesses.
