DECTA Bolsters Treasury Operations with OpenPayd Partnership
DECTA, a multinational payment technology firm, has partnered with OpenPayd to enhance its global treasury operations. The partnership will provide DECTA with integrated fiat infrastructure, OTC conversion, and hybrid payment setups to improve its worldwide treasury capabilities.
The deal reflects DECTA's ongoing investment in technologies that bolster the effectiveness and resilience of its operations, particularly in light of the increasing institutional use of stablecoins to enhance liquidity management, expedite settlement, and facilitate more effective cross-border operations.
According to OpenPayd's Chief Commercial Officer, Lux Thiagarajah, 'Stablecoins are becoming a practical treasury tool for businesses operating internationally.' He added that by bringing regulated fiat infrastructure and digital asset capabilities together through a single platform, they're helping DECTA to modernise its treasury operations while maintaining the governance and control expected of institutional financial infrastructure.
DECTA's CEO at UK, Scott Dawson, stated that 'Innovation is most valuable when it delivers a clear, practical benefit.' He said that OpenPayd gives them a more efficient way to move their own funds internationally, optimise liquidity management, and support settlement across the business. The solution does not offer customer-facing cryptocurrency or foreign exchange services; it is only used for DECTA's proprietary treasury operations.
