DeFi Developers Turn to Embedded Verification SDKs for Reusable Credentials
The world of decentralized finance (DeFi) is shifting towards embedded verification SDKs as developers look to integrate reusable credentials and privacy-preserving proofs directly into lending, payments, stablecoins, and tokenized asset platforms.
AIR by Moca Network and zkMe are two notable players in this space. AIR's modular SDK enables platforms to work with reusable credentials and verify user information without accessing raw data. This approach is particularly useful for DeFi applications where a user's verified status does not have to remain trapped inside one onboarding flow.
zkMe, on the other hand, offers zero-knowledge KYC infrastructure that allows developers to integrate verification flows directly into their front end. Its SDK supports individual KYC, business verification, transaction monitoring, and other credential types, minimizing exposure of underlying personal information.
