DeFi Kingdoms Abandons DFK Chain, Migrates to Avalanche C-Chain

Blockchain gaming project DeFi Kingdoms has announced plans to shut down its proprietary mainnet, DFK Chain. The move is set to take place on August 28, with the team working alongside Avalanche's C-Chain to transfer player assets.

The closure of DFK Chain does not signal the end of the project, according to DeFi Kingdoms. In fact, the team plans to release an SDK to support external developers building services that utilize DFK's systems and game mechanics.

DeFi Kingdoms aims to continue exploring long-term development plans for the project, despite the shutdown of its mainnet.
