DeFi Roars Back Above $84B as DEX Volumes Surge Past $10B
Decentralized finance (DeFi) rebounded strongly this Thursday, surpassing $84 billion in total value locked (TVL). The sector's growth is largely attributed to a surge in demand for on-chain financial instruments and increased activity on decentralized exchanges.
The total value locked in DeFi reached $84 billion over the last 24 hours, marking a significant milestone for the sector. Daily trading volume on decentralized exchanges also saw an increase, exceeding $10 billion over the same period.
Ethereum and Solana networks accounted for more than 65% of transactional activity recorded across decentralized platforms during the session.
Liquidity pools tied to stablecoins and large-cap pairs such as ETH and SOL showed significant growth, with Uniswap, Raydium, and PancakeSwap leading market share. The Ethereum network maintained its dominance, hosting over $50 billion of global TVL recorded during the analyzed period.
