Defillama Unveils Universal Token Ratings for Crypto Assets

Defillama has introduced Universal Token Ratings (UTR), a system that assigns grades to crypto assets, similar to those used by Wall Street. The UTR dashboard rates over 100 tokens, with uniswap (UNI) as the top contender with an AAA rating.

Meteora (MET), curve dao (CRV), raydium (RAY), olexchange (O), jito (JTO), ether.fi (ETHFI), dogecoin (DOGE), zama (ZAMA), and pyth network (PYTH) hold AA rankings. The system is not static, with ratings updated regularly to reflect market performance.

Defillama's mission is to provide honest and unbiased data, and the UTR system gives users a fast and standardized way to identify projects that deliver. The company notes that ratings can deteriorate in near real-time if a project's market structure falters, even if its disclosures remain unchanged.
