Deribit Exchange Launches US Stock Contracts with Over 125 Perpetual Options
Coinbase's Deribit Exchange is set to launch perpetual contracts for stocks such as SPCX, MSTR, and HOOD on August 31. This move marks a significant expansion of Deribit's real-world asset (RWA) product suite.
The linear perpetual contracts will cover equities, ETFs, commodities, and pre-IPO contracts and will be quoted, margined, and settled in USDC. Trading will be available 24/7, but special pricing, liquidity, and risk rules apply outside regular market hours.
The launch of US stock contracts is part of Coinbase's plan to migrate international derivatives to Deribit. This migration, expected to complete on September 9, 2026, aims to bring more than 125 perpetual contracts, including stocks and commodity perpetuals with up to 50x leverage.
