Coinbase affiliate Deribit has made significant strides in expanding its spot product offerings after obtaining a Broker-Dealer license from Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA).

The VARA license will enable buy, sell, and trade orders to be forwarded to and executed on Coinbase Exchange, allowing users to benefit from the exchange's trading infrastructure and liquidity.

With this new regulation in place, Deribit plans to provide access to hundreds of spot assets listed on Coinbase Exchange, which could potentially increase the number of tradable assets on the platform.

The integration of spot and derivative products is also expected to be streamlined, allowing users to utilize assets acquired in the spot market for futures trading without withdrawing them from the platform.
