DeXenY Launches Blockchain-Based Energy Protocol
The DeXenY Foundation has launched a decentralized energy protocol called DeXenY, designed to connect distributed energy resources with blockchain-based settlement and real-world asset infrastructure. This comes as energy generation and consumption become increasingly decentralized, with households, businesses, and communities generating, storing, and managing electricity closer to where it is consumed.
The project aims to provide common digital infrastructure for these resources to participate in a more transparent and programmable energy marketplace. Its architecture centers around three functions: generating energy, verifying physical activity, and settling transactions.
DeXenY links physical energy infrastructure with verified data, blockchain-based settlement, and digital markets, creating a framework for distributed energy resources to participate in a coordinated economic network.
