Digital X Emerges as Mirae Asset's Tokenized Finance Hub

Mirae Asset has completed its acquisition of Korbit, a South Korean cryptocurrency exchange, and rebranded it as Digital X. The move places Digital X at the center of Mirae Asset's digital asset strategy focused on tokenized finance.

Digital X aims to combine traditional finance with blockchain-based investment products by targeting real-world asset tokenization, security token offerings, stablecoins, and connected investment products.

The company plans to build a unified investment platform instead of a trading-focused exchange, positioning Digital X as financial infrastructure rather than a conventional cryptocurrency marketplace.
