Digital X Waives Trading Fees to Rival Upbit and Bithumb in South Korea

Share

Mirae Asset's crypto exchange, Digital X, has announced it will waive all trading fees for a year to compete with Upbit and Bithumb. This move aims to attract more users to the platform and increase its market share in South Korea. The decision comes as the cryptocurrency market continues to be highly competitive.

The news follows an analysis by CryptoRank, which found that being among the world's 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization offers little protection against eventual collapse. According to the study, 71.9% of 1,539 digital assets that made it into the top tier eventually disappeared.
