Dinari Unlocks On-Chain Trading for 700+ Tokenised Stocks with Circle
Dinari has made a significant move in the world of crypto finance by partnering with Circle to enable U.S. individuals and companies to buy and sell all S&P 500 constituents directly on-chain.
This partnership allows for the trading of over 700 tokenised stocks using USDC through self-custody wallets, marking a major milestone in the adoption of stock tokenisation.
Dinari's co-founder and CEO, Gabriel Otte, believes that investing and digital assets have remained separate for decades, but this launch aims to change that by allowing investors to move smoothly between stablecoins and U.S. stocks while maintaining traditional capital-market safeguards.
The tokenised stocks, known as 'dShares', are backed by real underlying securities held in qualified custody, but the liquidity in the tokenised securities market may be limited, making it difficult to sell at the desired time and price.
