Dogecoin Analyst Retracts $15 Forecast Amid Changing Market Conditions
Crypto analyst Ali Martinez has retracted their earlier forecast that Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE) would hit $15. According to Martinez, the thesis was based on a multi-year rising parallel channel that accurately defined DOGE's price action since inception.
Every time DOGE touched the lower boundary of this channel, it marked a 'generational buying opportunity', delivering massive gains in 2017 and 2020. However, with Dogecoin now breaking below the lower boundary, the technical foundation behind the $15 target has been invalidated.
Martinez acknowledged that markets can change quickly, saying 'markets evolve'. They floated $1 as a possible remaining price target for DOGE, which would still represent an impressive upside from current levels.
