Dogecoin Breaks Above Kumo Cloud After 87-Day Consolidation

The Dogecoin price has broken above its Ichimoku Kumo cloud after more than 87 days of being trapped below it. This significant technical development is a bullish sign for DOGE holders, but it's essential to remember that no prediction can be made with certainty in the cryptocurrency market.

Currently, $DOGE trades at $0.07159, up 2.1% over the past day. The price has tested whether it can hold this breakout move and is now retesting the breakout zone from above. If volume confirms the retest and price holds above the breakout zone, the next stop could be resistance at $0.07304, then $0.07451.

The 4H chart shows that DOGE is trading inside an ascending channel that has guided the recent uptrend. A volume-backed break above the upper boundary of the channel clears resistance at $0.07370 first, then $0.07564. On the other hand, a break below the lower boundary of the channel flips things bearish, with $0.06928 and $0.06765 as next support levels.
