Dogecoin Ecosystem Expansion Falls Flat at the Market
Dogecoin's ecosystem is expanding rapidly, but its price remains stagnant. The memecoin has gained serious credibility with the backing of experienced teams behind projects like MyDoge and DogeOS.
MyDoge and DogeOS were co-founded by a former BitGo co-founder who left a $1.2 billion exit package behind, along with an early backer of Tesla and SpaceX. Meanwhile, Anoncoin's team has eight years of experience in FinTech and has raised over $21 million in funding from notable investors like Polychain, Dragonfly, Consensys, and Nasdaq-listed Metalpha.
The developments include the launchpad for Anoncoin on Robinhood Chain, a working zkEVM testnet integrated with Chainlink for DogeOS, and the project's title sponsorship at Korea Blockchain Week. However, it's essential to note that there is no DogeOS token yet, and the mainnet doesn't have a confirmed date.
The market appears to be pricing in these developments, as Dogecoin's price has been relatively flat since its late August spike. The RSI indicator has slowed down from above 80 to a neutral range of 50-58, while the Chaikin Money Flow has gone flat to near zero.
