Dogecoin ETFs Struggle with Stagnation as Institutional Interest Fades
Dogecoin ETFs have seen another bout of stagnation, following a brief surge in institutional interest. Despite reaching $345,130 in inflows on July 21, daily flows dropped to zero for three consecutive days starting from July 22.
The recent activity marks the latest setback for Dogecoin-backed ETFs, which have struggled to gain traction with investors. Although the funds recorded their first positive week since June 18, totaling $12.12 million in capital inflows, the weekly dynamic remains uncertain.
On the spot market, Dogecoin's price has fallen 0.17% over the last 24 hours, trading around $0.07. This decline is attributed to general crypto market pressure, which has pushed the token to its lowest level since November 2023. In contrast, open interest on DOGE futures has risen to $1.10 billion, indicating a massive accumulation of short positions by investors.
Technical analysts have identified a potential reversal scenario, with the TD Sequential indicator confirming a buy signal on Dogecoin's monthly chart. If this pattern holds, projections foresee a rebound towards an intermediate target of $0.16, and potentially as high as $0.45 if the critical threshold of $0.056 is preserved.
