Dogecoin ETFs Suffer Net Outflows Amid Resilient Spot Price
The Dogecoin market has experienced a setback in its ETFs, with a net outflow of $763,000 recorded on September 2. This move wiped out much of the recent inflow momentum and marked a rough start to the month for outflows.
The Grayscale Dogecoin ETF (GDOG) absorbed most of the outflows, with its DOGE net assets falling to around $7.96 million. Despite this, the coin's spot price has remained resilient, trading at $0.08719 and up 6.1% over the past 24 hours.
The split between rising spot demand and cooling institutional ETF flows is a pattern worth watching in coming sessions of crypto news. Market analysts note that Dogecoin's flows remain a small fraction of the coin's overall market activity, so a single day of outflows does not necessarily signal a structural shift.
