Dogecoin Invalidates Crucial Support Level, Momentum Deteriorates
Dogecoin (DOGE) has fallen below its crucial 100-day EMA, invalidating a key level that was established during its August rally. This move is significant because it precedes the June decline toward $0.08 and eventually the summer bottom around $0.069.
The 200-day EMA at $0.0944 was temporarily tested during the August surge, but buyers were unable to recover this long-term average. Following the rejection, DOGE experienced a series of lower highs that brought it back to the 100-day EMA.
DOGE is currently trading near its shorter-term moving average at $0.0805, forming a compressed support area between $0.080 and $0.082. A clear daily close below this cluster would increase the likelihood of another move toward the 50-day EMA, currently around $0.0752.
The main downside target below that is the former consolidation zone, roughly between $0.069 and $0.072. Momentum has significantly declined, with the RSI falling to 51 after a brief push into overbought territory during the August breakout.
