Dogecoin Network Activity Surges as Crypto Analyst Sees Buying Opportunity
Dogecoin (DOGE) has been showing signs of life after months of stagnant price action. According to on-chain data, network activity in the Dogecoin ecosystem has increased by 16% in just one week, with weekly active addresses rising from around 38,000 to more than 44,000.
This surge in activity is a positive sign for DOGE investors, as it indicates that users are returning to the blockchain and participating in the ecosystem. Rising active addresses are considered a leading indicator of improving blockchain usage, reflecting stronger user participation and growing investor engagement.
Despite the increase alone not confirming a trend reversal, it suggests Dogecoin is beginning to attract renewed attention after an extended period of declining activity.
Crypto analyst Ash Crypto believes DOGE is approaching one of its strongest long-term buying opportunities in years. The analyst notes that DOGE is now trading at its most oversold levels ever, having corrected nearly 90% from its all-time high and hitting a 3-year low at $0.067.
Similar conditions have historically appeared near major market bottoms, where selling pressure became exhausted before long-term recoveries began. While oversold indicators are not timing tools on their own, they become significantly more meaningful when accompanied by improving on-chain metrics and stabilizing market structure.
